| SECRETS OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY workshop is our most popular and introduces beginners and keen amateur photographers to the wonderful world of digital imaging. This is a full day workshop and provides an insight into digital imaging and getting the best out of your camera regardless of your photographic skill level. We focus on practical ‘hands on’ information that will have you taking better pictures right from the start. We start of with the basics of digital photography and camera setup so that everybody is on the same page and has a good grasp of the shutter speed/ aperture relationship and has made the most logical choices in the basic setup of their camera. We then get right into the good stuff!! There’s intuitive instruction on lighting and composition along with everything from exposure control to white balance. The course is about learning to see light and to use it to make images that express what you want to say about your subject. We will talk about how to select the right lens ,the use of aperture and shutter speed to control the creative process. and how you can use perspective and composition to make great images. Along the way here is plenty of time to explore areas of photography that you are interested in or have been having trouble with. Often it is just a small piece of knowledge that is needed to send you off on a whole new journey of adventure and expression |
